They also advise informing patients that insurance companies like Delta Dental will send the check directly to them. They suggest that patients contact their benefits supervisor if they are still waiting to receive the reimbursement within two weeks.

Although they recognize that patients may only sometimes be enthusiastic about paying upfront, Gary and Naren emphasize the importance of doing so to improve cash flow and reduce dependence on PPO plans.
